St. Paul is a city located in St. Charles County, Missouri. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 1,634.

There are 517 housing units at an average density of 29.7/km² (76.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 98.96% White, 0.06% African American, 0.12% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.18% from other races, and 0.67% from two or more races. 1.29% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 506 households out of which 49.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 82.8% are married couples living together, 3.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 11.5% are non-families. 8.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 4.9% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
