Sacavém is a city in Portugal, near the capital Lisbon. It has a surface of 4,15 km² and a population of about 18,000 inhabitants (according 2001 Census). Sacavém was erected village on December 4th, 1927, and town on June 4th, 1997. It confines with the parishes of Bobadela, Camarate, Moscavide, Portela, Prior Velho e Unhos, as well as the river Tagus.
Sacavém is very well-known for its famous ceramics.
