Sprundel
Sprundel is a small town in the southern Netherlands. In the past it was the main city of the region, with roads to Roosendaal to the west, Breda to the east, Rotterdam to the north and Antwerp to the south.
Sint Willebrord
Sint Willebrord is also known by the name T'heike (mostly written as Theike, or less often Heike) coming from Het Heide (The Heathlands) or Het Heike in local dialect. This town was formed on the former boundary between the "Baronie of Breda" and "Het Markizaat of Bergen Op Zoom" as a harboring-place for criminals. Because of this, and other, more recent, incidents, the town of Sint Willebrord has a bad reputation in the Western part of North Brabant. Sint Willebrord is the largest and most prosperous of the 5 towns in the munincipal of Rucphen. During Carnaval the town goes by the name of Heikneutersland.
The name Sint Willebrord comes from Saint Willibrord, due to a misspelling.
