Ross Cuthbert

Ross Cuthbert (February 17, 1776 – August 28, 1861) was a Canadian writer and lawyer.
Born in Montreal, Quebec, he was heir to the seigniories of Lanoraie and Dautray. He completed his studies of law in Philadelphia where he married Emily Rush, daughter of one of the signatories of the United States Declaration of Independence.
Cuthbert sat at the Executive Council and the Legislative Parliament of Lower Canada. He published Aéropage in Quebec City in 1803.
He passed away in Berthierville, Quebec in 1861.
