He first became kwown for his steady role in the TV series Baa Baa Black Sheep.
In the 1980s, Ginty was the star of several B-movie actioners, such as The Exterminator and its sequel.
He later focused less on his acting career and more on his activity as a director, mostly for television, for such series as Xena Warrior Princess.
