- Baa Baa Black Sheep is the title of the autobiography of United States flying ace Pappy Boyington, published in 1958. During World War II Boyington led USMC fighter squadron VMF-214, nicknamed the "Black Sheep Squadron", which flew F4U Corsairs.
- Baa Baa Black Sheep was the original title of a popular 1970s television series which was based very loosely on the wartime exploits of Boyington and the Black Sheep squadron. The series ran from 1976 to 1978; in its second and final season, its title was changed to The Black Sheep Squadron.
