The racial makeup of the town is 36.80% White, 61.53% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.46% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.58% from other races, and 0.64% from two or more races. 1.68% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
