Rinat Dasaev (Ри́нат Даса́ев; born June 13, 1957 in Astrakhan, Soviet Union) was a Russian football goalkeeper. He was named by Pelé as one of the top 125 greatest living footballers in March 2004.
Dasaev was a goalkeeper for the Russian football club Spartak Moscow during most of the 1980s. He won the USSR championship five times and was named Best Soviet Goalkeeper by Ogonyok magazine in 1980, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1987, 1988. Dasaev played for the Soviet national team in the 1982, 1986 and 1990 World Cups, as well as the 1980 Summer Olympics (USSR finished third) and Euro 88 (USSR finished second). After his contract ran out with the Spanish club Sevilla FC in the early 1990s, Dasaev retired from the sport.de:Rinat Dassajew
