Reichskommissar

Reichskommissar was an official title of authorized representative of the Deutsches Reich (after 1871) who was appointed to a special task, e.g. for emigration ("Reichskommissar für das Auswanderungswesen" in Hamburg) or for German colonies.
Reichskommissar was given later by Hitler to the leaders (governors) of some German-occupied countries during World War II.
