Recovery-oriented computing

Recovery-oriented Computing is a method constructed at Leland Stanford Junior University and the University of California, Berkeley for developing reliable computing technology. Its proponents seek to recognize computer bugs as inevitable, and then reduce their harmful effects. The National Science Foundation funds this project.
