Raising Hell
|
Most important of the tracks on Raising Hell is the collaboration with Aerosmith, "Walk This Way". While the song was not the first fusion of rock and hip hop, it was the first one to sell well. Run-D.M.C.'s degree of penetration into mainstream markets was unprecedented for a hip hop act.
Raising Hell peaked at #1 on Billboard's R&B/Hip Hop Album chart, and at #6 on the Billboard 200.
