RAF Woodvale

RAF Woodvale is a Royal Air Force airfield in Merseyside, England. It was built as a fighter base during World War II, opening 7 December 1941.
It is currently used by several RAF training units and some civilian aviation organisations.
It is also home to the Woodvale International Rally, which was originally a model aircraft show but has grown. In 2005 it will be in its 34th year.
