As daughter of Aspasia and granddaughter of Petros Manos and Maria Argyropoulos, she was the only scion of the Royal Family of Greece who had Greek blood from recent generations. Through her mother's side she descended, among others, from Greek nobility of Istanbul (Phanariotes).
From her father's side, she descended from several Emperors of Constantinople (Byzantium) as well as from several other medieval monarchs of Balkan region. These ancestors however lived several centuries ago, mostly in the Byzantine era.
The posthumous daughter was recognized as Princess of Greece and Denmark, though she grew up somewhat shunned by the German-based royal families.
She died in East Sussex in England on 30 January 1993 and was buried in the former private Greek royal residence at Tatoi in Greece.
