Pontiac is a county regional municipality of Quebec in Canada. It should not be confused with the municipality of Pontiac, which is located outside this county regional municipality.
Demographics
Population: 14,565 in 2001, down 6.5 per cent from 1996.
Language: The Pontiac MRC is primarily but not overwhelmingly anglophone; in the 2001 census, 57.2 per cent identified English as their first language, 38.3 per cent said it was French, 2.4 per cent listed both, and 2.1 per cent listed other.
