Te-ri'i-ta-ria Pomare III (1820 - 1827) was the king of Tahiti between 1821 and 1827. He was the second son of Pomare II.He wa born at Papa'oa, Arue, 25th June 1820 as Te-ri'i-ta-ria.His education took place at the South Sea Academy, Papetoai, Moorea He was baptised 10th September 1820.Succeeded on the death of his father 7th December 1821 as king of Tahiti.He was crowned at Papa'oa, Arue, 21st April 1824. He reigned under a council of Regeny until his death 8th January 1827.
