Plover is a village located in Portage County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 10,520.

Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 10,520 people, 3,985 households, and 2,845 families residing in the village. The population density is 477.9/km² (1,238.2/mi²). There are 4,133 housing units at an average density of 187.7/km² (486.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 96.82% White, 0.43% Black or African American, 0.42% Native American, 0.95% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 0.41% from other races, and 0.94% from two or more races. 1.35% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 3,985 households out of which 39.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.9% are married couples living together, 8.4% have a female householder with no husband present, and 28.6% are non-families. 20.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 4.6% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.63 and the average family size is 3.11.
In the village the population is spread out with 28.8% under the age of 18, 9.8% from 18 to 24, 32.1% from 25 to 44, 22.9% from 45 to 64, and 6.5% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 33 years. For every 100 females there are 98.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 97.0 males.
The median income for a household in the village is $51,238, and the median income for a family is $60,146. Males have a median income of $40,206 versus $26,521 for females. The per capita income for the village is $23,085. 6.0% of the population and 4.2% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total population, 8.0% of those under the age of 18 and 4.3% of those 65 and older are living below the poverty line.
