Piermont is a village located in Rockland County, New York, United States. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 2,607.
The Village of Piermont is in the Town of Orangetown. Located in southeast New York near the New Jersey border, Piermont was built on the Hudson River. A pier built by the Erie Railroad was a major debarcation point for World War II troops.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 3.0 km² (1.1 mi²). 1.7 km² (0.7 mi²) of it is land and 1.2 km² (0.5 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 41.74% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 2,607 people, 1,189 households, and 672 families residing in the village. The population density is 1,502.3/km² (3,878.9/mi²). There are 1,320 housing units at an average density of 760.7/km² (1,964.0/mi²).
