Peter Pilkington

Peter Pilkington, Baron Pilkington of Oxenford (born 5 September, 1933) is a Conservative member of the House of Lords. He was made a Life Peer in 1996. His family were famous througout the North West of England for the Production of Pilkington Glass products, which made the family very rich indeed.
He was ordained as an Anglican minister in 1959 and was a schoolmaster at Eton College from 1962 to 1976, headmaster of the King's School, Canterbury and High Master of St Paul's School, London.
He was Chairman of the Broadcasting Complaints Commission from 1992 to 1996.
