Peachtree City is known for its system of golf cart paths, which run across the town and provides secondary means of access to almost any destination within city limits. Many households own a golf cart, and they are used as an extra vehicle for local transportation. Since Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue passed House Bill 1063, unaccompanied fifteen-year-olds with valid Georgia Learner's Permits are once again allowed to operate golf carts. Students at local high schools are even encouraged to drive their golf carts to school due to limited parking. The golf cart paths are also used by bikers, joggers, and pedestrians as a safer alternative to the side of the road.

Peachtree City is home to a small airport, Falcon Field (http://www.kffc.org), which hosts a medium-sized airshow every year.
