Palmview is a city located in Hidalgo County, Texas. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 4,107.

Palmview is located at 26°13'36" North, 98°22'32" West (26.226636, -98.375633)Template:GR.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 6.2 km² (2.4 mi²). 6.2 km² (2.4 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

The racial makeup of the city is 67.35% White, 0.02% African American, 0.12% Native American, 0.12% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 31.19% from other races, and 1.19% from two or more races. 93.21% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
