Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha
|
Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha, published in 1993, is perhaps the most well-known novel written by Irish author Roddy Doyle. It is written from the perspective of a 10-year-old boy in Ireland. The novel has similarities with novel The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger in that it concerns a young man's struggle with adolescence and the world around him. Another similarity with the Salinger novel is the device of beginning the book with its end.
