Osterley is a place in the London Borough of Hounslow, west London.
Osterley, famous for the eponymous House and park (now owned by the National Trust), is a quiet village-type residential area known for its large amounts of green space. Osterley is defined by its bordering roads, The southern road being the A4 (The Great West Road), northern being Jersey Road, the eastern road is Syon Lane, and the western being Thornbury Avenue. These borders technically place Osterley Tube Station outside Osterley proper, but there is a continuous residental area from Osterley to Heston so it becomes hard to decide where Osterley really ends and Heston begins.
Besides Osterley House & Park, Osterley is also famous for containing the London residence of The Sultan of Brunei.
