Orme is a town located in Marion County, Tennessee. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 124.
Geography
Orme is located at 35°0'41" North, 85°48'19" West (35.011361, -85.805175)Template:GR.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 10.7 km² (4.2 mi²). 10.7 km² (4.2 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 124 people, 57 households, and 36 families residing in the town. The population density is 11.5/km² (29.8/mi²). There are 63 housing units at an average density of 5.9/km² (15.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 57 households out of which 28.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.1% are married couples living together, 12.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 36.8% are non-families. 29.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 8.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
