Original Italian Pizza (commonly shortened to 'O.I.P.' and pronounced phonetically) is a restaurant chain in the Altoona, Pennsylvania, locale. It serves various kinds of standard U.S. fare, such as hoagies and salads, as well as Italian dishes, such as pizza, spaghetti, strombolis, and chicken parmesan.
There are currently five O.I.P. locations: one is in the Juniata district of Altoona, near the Jaffa Mosque; another is at the intersection of 58th Street and 6th Avenue in Altoona; the next is in Altoona's industrial district, on Broad Avenue, near the bridge over Mill Run; another is in Hollidaysburg; and the last is in Huntingdon.
Many other pizzerias include the words "original Italian pizza" in their name, so name alone is not sufficient to identify a restaurant as being part of this chain.
