Orange Romania is Romania's largest GSM network operator. Until April 2002, they operated under the brand name Dialog. As of April 2005, Orange Romania has 5,200,000 subscribers, which gives them 48.43% market share.
Orange is in head-to-head competition with Connex GSM for the 10.7 million mobile telephony users in Romania. Orange edged ahead of Connex in terms of number of subscribers in September 2004.
