Oneida is an unincorporated community located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the community had a total population of 1,070. The community is a census-designated place for statistical purposes. the community is located mostly within the Town of Oneida in Outagamie County. A small portion lies within the Town of Hobart (which has incorporated as a village since the 2000 census) in adjacent Brown County.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the community has a total area of 14.8 km² (5.7 mi²). 14.6 km² (5.7 mi²) of it is land and 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 1.05% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 1,070 people, 359 households, and 250 families residing in the community. The population density is 73.1/km² (189.3/mi²). There are 383 housing units at an average density of 26.2/km² (67.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the community is 31.03% White, 0.28% African American, 65.89% Native American, 0.09% Asian, 0.09% Pacific Islander, 0.28% from other races, and 2.34% from two or more races. 3.36% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 359 households out of which 37.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.0% are married couples living together, 16.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 30.1% are non-families. 25.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 13.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.98 and the average family size is 3.62.
In the community the population is spread out with 35.2% under the age of 18, 6.6% from 18 to 24, 26.4% from 25 to 44, 21.0% from 45 to 64, and 10.7% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 33 years. For every 100 females there are 88.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 82.8 males.
The median income for a household in the community is $31,588, and the median income for a family is $35,288. Males have a median income of $29,079 versus $21,983 for females. The per capita income for the community is $13,766. 18.5% of the population and 18.3% of families are below the poverty line.
