One Hundred Men and a Girl

One Hundred Men and a Girl is a 1937 musical comedy film. The daughter (Deanna Durbin) of a struggling musician (Adolphe Menjou) forms a symphony orchestra made up of his unemployed friends and is able to get Leopold Stokowski to lead them in a concert that leads to a radio contract. It also stars Alice Brady and Mischa Auer.
The film was written by Charles Kenyon, Bruce Manning and James Mulhauser from a story by Hanns Kräly. It was directed by Henry Koster.
The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture.
