Offline browsing

Many modern web browsers have a mode entitled offline browsing, where links to webpages are redirected to local copies in a temporary folder. The local copies are generally created automatically in the browser's cache and deleted automatically. Many web browsers allow the user to explicitly set specific pages to be browsed offline, which guarantees that they will not be deleted from the user's cache.
There are many different programs which follow links on a page and save all the pages reached on your hard disk. They can then be browsed after you have disconnected. One of the most popular (and yet free) is HTTrack.
