O'Neill is a city located in Holt County, Nebraska. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 3,733. It is the county seat of Holt CountyTemplate:GR.

O'Neill is located at 42°27'39" North, 98°38'49" West (42.460753, -98.647016)Template:GR.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 6.1 km² (2.4 mi²). 6.1 km² (2.4 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.
O'Neill is the official "Irish Capitol of Nebraska". Cattle, potatoes, tomatoes, soybeans and corn are the major products produced near this town.
