- For the Harry Potter character, see Minor Dark wizards in Harry Potter.
In Norse mythology, Nótt was the goddess of the night, daughter of Narvi. She had three husbands and three children. First was Naglfari, with whom she gave birth to Aud; followed by Annar, the father of Earth and lastly Delling, father of Dagur. Like Dagur, Nótt rode across the sky daily, in a chariot pulled by Hrímfaxi. She brings dew with her every morning.
