North Chevy Chase is a village located in Montgomery County, Maryland. It was established as a Special Tax District in 1924 and incorporated as a village in 1996. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 465.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²). 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 465 people, 173 households, and 126 families residing in the village. The population density is 1,632.2/km² (4,094.5/mi²). There are 176 housing units at an average density of 617.8/km² (1,549.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 92.47% White, 4.52% African American, 0.22% Native American, 0.86% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.22% from other races, and 1.72% from two or more races. 1.94% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 173 households out of which 37.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.0% are married couples living together, 11.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 26.6% are non-families. 20.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.69 and the average family size is 3.11.
In the village the population is spread out with 27.1% under the age of 18, 3.9% from 18 to 24, 24.3% from 25 to 44, 28.2% from 45 to 64, and 16.6% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 42 years. For every 100 females there are 90.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 90.4 males.
The median income for a household in the village is $103,196, and the median income for a family is $106,942. Males have a median income of $72,292 versus $39,583 for females. The per capita income for the village is $43,499. 2.3% of the population and 1.7% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total population, 1.5% of those under the age of 18 and 0.0% of those 65 and older are living below the poverty line.
