North Alamo is a census-designated place located in Hidalgo County, Texas. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 2,061.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 4.6 km² (1.8 mi²). 4.6 km² (1.8 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 2,061 people, 565 households, and 496 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 444.6/km² (1,148.9/mi²). There are 913 housing units at an average density of 196.9/km² (509.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 96.70% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 2.18% from other races, and 1.12% from two or more races. 89.91% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
