Plot
Julie, a Mormon college student who was attending Brigham Young University, was worried about what the school would think of her, as she was living with men as well as women. Her coming to terms with the world outside of her adoptive home state of Utah (she was raised in Wisconsin) provided much story throughout the season. Danny, who was gay, started dating a serviceman. In compliance with the Don't Ask, Don't Tell law, his boyfriend's face was blurred every time he was caught on camera. Melissa, who was slightly neurotic, went to therapy and channeled her emotions through painting. She was also deemed the firecracker of the house, and provided much drama and laughter.
Job
The seven housemates worked at a New Orleans public access cable television station.
