Nebraska Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
|
The Nebraska Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (NIAC), a former NAIA-affiliated college athletic conference that sponsored American football, was formed in 1969.
The six charter members included Concordia University-Nebraska, Dana College, Doane College, Hastings College, Midland Lutheran College, and Nebraska Wesleyan University.
With the addition of Northwestern College in 1992, the NIAC was renamed the Nebraska-Iowa Athletic Conference.
All former members of the NIAC are now affiliated with the Great Plains Athletic Conference.
