Neasden Temple
|
The Neasden Temple (BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir) is a Hindu temple in the suburb of Neasden in London. It is believed to be the largest Hindu temple outside India. It comprises an elaborately carved temple in a traditional Indian Style, constructed mainly from Carrera marble and Bulgarian limestone, and an assembly hall able to accommodate four or five thousand people.
The complex is open to non-Hindus and there is an exhibition giving an introduction to the religion.
