NW 39th Street Enclave

The NW 39th Street Enclave, Oklahoma City's gay village, is mostly concentrated along and around a section of NW 39th Street, off Pennsylvania Avenue in the city's burgeoning northwest quadrant.
The area houses the bulk of the city's most popular gay and lesbian nightclubs and bars, as well as a number of retail stores catering to the LGBT community.
This portion of NW 39th St is also home to the main festivities of the annual Oklahoma City Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered & Intersex Pride Parade, held each June. While the area is relatively quiet during the daylight hours, it comes alive at night with throngs of people visiting the many bars, danceclubs, and shops.
