Nienor

In Tolkien's Silmarillion, Nienor, also called Níniel ("tear-maiden") was the child of Húrin and Morwen and sister of Túrin.
She was born in Hithlum in the year of Nirnaeth Arnoediad. After this battle the Easterlings settled in the land and oppressed the people of Hador. Nienor lived there for twenty years with Morwen, her mother, and then went to Doriath, in hopes of finding her brother Túrin, who has been sent there earlier.
After they heard a rumour that the mysterious Mormegil of Nargothrond was actually Túrin, they set out with a company of Elves. But the Elven city has just been sacked by Glaurung, and the dragon, sensing their approach, caused a cloud of foul vapor to rise from the river Narog. The party's horses panicked, and Nienor wanderered away until she met the worm himself, who was then able to put her under an amnesia-like spell.
Eventually she was found by Mablung, who intended to take her back to Doriath. But they were attacked by Orcs when crossing the river Taeglin. In confusion and terror Nienor ran away, tore off her clothes and ran naked through the forest until she fainted at Haudh-en-Elleth. It was here that Túrin found her. Because she could not tell who she was, she was given the name Níniel.
Soon after the men of Brethil returned to Ephel Brandir, Nienor fell sick and was tended by Brandir, who was secretly in love with her. She, however, loved Túrin more and after three years they were wed. Next spring Nienor conceived and was halfway through her pregnancy when rumours about Glaurung approaching reached Brethil.
Túrin killed the dragon, but was splatted by its venom and fell into a swoon. Nienor went out to seek him, and thinking he was dead began to despair. Glaurung then lifted the spell from her, and Nienor perceiving what she had done, flung herself down the ravine of Cabed-en-Aras.
