Murderball
|
Murderball is a tag game that is commonly played on schoolgrounds. Students are split into two equal groups, and take turns throwing a ball at the opposing team. If the ball hits a member of the team, they are "out" and leave the game. Play continues until all the members of one of the teams are out.
Murderball is also the original name of the sport now called Wheelchair Rugby or Quad Rugby.
Murderball is also the title of a documentary about wheelchair rugby, set to be released in the USA in Summer 2005. It is co-directed by Henry Alex Rubin and Dana Adam Shapiro.
