Mount Kerinci is the highest mountain of Sumatra, Indonesia, located in the Kerinci Seblat national park. It is a volcano that is still active occasionally. The obsidian produced by eruptions of this mountain was used to fashion tools in the prehistoric period. Template:Indonesia-geo-stub
