Mount Forest Township is a township located in Bay County, Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 1,405. The unincorporated community of Mount Forest is located within the township.

Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 1,405 people, 523 households, and 403 families residing in the township. The population density is 15.1/km² (39.0/mi²). There are 550 housing units at an average density of 5.9/km² (15.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 97.86% White, 0.00% African American, 0.93% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.57% from other races, and 0.64% from two or more races. 1.78% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
