Mount Aspiring is in the South Island of New Zealand.
It is set within the Mount Aspiring National Park and has a height of 3033 metres. Maori named it Tititea, which translates as Glistening Peak. It was first climbed in 1909.
Tititea sits at the head of the Matukituki river, and is the only New Zealand peak above 3000 metres outside the immediate Aoraki (Mount Cook) region.
