Moroni is a city located in Sanpete County, Utah. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 1,280.

Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 1,280 people, 399 households, and 316 families residing in the city. The population density is 461.9/km² (1,194.1/mi²). There are 430 housing units at an average density of 155.2/km² (401.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 82.58% White, 0.23% African American, 0.31% Native American, 0.08% Asian, 0.62% Pacific Islander, 12.03% from other races, and 4.14% from two or more races. 20.55% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 399 households out of which 46.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.2% are married couples living together, 8.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 20.6% are non-families. 19.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 14.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.21 and the average family size is 3.70.
