Mike Kitchen

Mike Kitchen (Born: February 1, 1956 in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada-) is a Canadian former defenceman and current head coach in the National Hockey League. He is currently head coach for the St. Louis Blues, since February 24, 2004. He has played for the Colorado Rockies and New Jersey Devils and other teams in the Ontario Hockey Association, AHL and Central Hockey League. He was previously assistant coach for the St. Louis Blues, Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL Newmarket Saints. He was drafted by Kansas City Scouts in the 1976 NHL Entry Draft, Third round, Thirty-eighth Overall. During the offseason, he resides in Aurora, Ontario.
