Mikan

Mikan (蜜柑; みかん) is a Japanese variety of citrus fruit, in a family known to the west as a mandarin orange. It is similar to a tangerine with a particularly sweet juice and a loose skin that can be peeled easily. Mikan are in season during late fall and winter.
