Michael Organ (born 22 September 1956) is an Australian politician. He was an Australian Greens member of the Australian House of Representatives between 2002 and 2004, representing the Division of Cunningham, New South Wales. He was the first member of the Greens to win a seat in the House of Representatives.
Organ was born in Bulli, New South Wales, and was educated at the University of Wollongong and University of New South Wales. Before entering politics, he worked as an archivist at both these universities.
On 28 October, 2002, Organ won a by-election that had been caused by the resignation of Labor MP Stephen Martin, defeating Labor challenger Sharon Bird, helped by the fact that there was no Liberal candidate. Bird stood again and defeated Organ at the 2004 federal election.
