Micah Wright

Micah Ian Wright (b. 1969 in Lubbock, Texas) is an author who has worked in film, animation, video games, and comic books (Stormwatch: Team Achilles).
His book You Back the Attack, We'll Bomb Who We Want, a collection of repainted World War II propaganda posters modified to feature antiwar messages, featured an introduction in which he claimed to have been a former US Army Ranger. He claimed to have experienced combat in Operation Just Cause in Panama and to have taken part in other secret covert operations, including ones which involved the invasion of foreign countries. He spoke at universities and antiwar rallies about having executed orders to kill innocent civilians. His claim to have been a former Army Ranger was later exposed to be false; several weeks after his claim was exposed, he admitted that he had lied.
