The noise music band Metalux is comprised of M.V. Carbon and J. Graf, both former members of Bride of No No. Twig Harper of Nautical Almanac occasionally performs with the band as well. The band combines sickly sweet sounds with infantile singing and crazy synth/found sounds, generally all played through tons of effects, that make the band sound like they're spinning around the room. Continued listening is a lot like eating a lot of candy on a hot summer afternoon and riding The Zipper until deeply nauseous, except that the ride in question is actually tumbling through space into a black hole.
Their new album Waiting for Armadillo was released by Load Records in 2004. Earlier albums by the duo/trio were released by Hanson Records.
M.V. Carbon also plays in Foamula with Magic is Küntmaster's Camilla Ha.
