Mega Man VI

Mega Man VI (RockMan 6 in Japan) is a video game that is a part of the Mega Man Classic series. The video game was released on the Nintendo Entertainment System in North America and Europe, and on the Famicom in Japan.
The series is the sequel to the video game Mega Man V. In the game, the 1st annual robot tournament was held with eight robots. Mr. X, the tournament's sponsor, takes control of the robots and begins to take over the world. Mr. X claims that he had been manipulating Dr. Wily from the beginning, and that he now wants to defeat Mega Man on his own.
It is later revealed that Mr. X is a pseudonym of Dr. Wily. When Mega Man defeats Wily, he is arrested and sent to prison.

Two of the robots, Knight Man and Wind Man, were designed by the winners of a contest that Nintendo Power held in the United States. The contest stipulated that two robot designs would be sent to Capcom and be antagonists in Mega Man VI. Submissions came from children in North America.
