Maurice LaMarche

Maurice LaMarche (b March 30, 1958) is a prolific voice actor known for his impressions of Orson Welles. He has portrayed: Chief Quimby in Inspector Gadget; Egon Spengler in the many incarnations of the Ghostbusters cartoons; the Brain in Pinky and the Brain; numerous secondary characters in Futurama including Kif Kroker and Morbo; and Alec Baldwin for the 2004 film, Team America: World Police. He is also the voice of Froot Loops mascot Toucan Sam.
His signature voice is an impersonation of Orson Welles. The Brain, in Pinky and the Brain, is modeled after Welles, and many episodes are nods to Welles's career. "The Third Mouse" is based on The Third Man, and in another episode the Brain stages a false alien invasion for television, in a deliberate attempt to achieve what Welles's The War of the Worlds broadcast accomplished by accident.
LaMarche has voiced Welles himself on occasion. He dubbed over the voice of Vincent D'Onofrio's performance of Welles in the film Ed Wood, and parodied Welles again in The Critic, in which a video will devolves into a commercial for Rosebud Frozen Peas.
LaMarche joined the cast of The Transformers television series after the release of Transformers: The Movie. Oddly, LaMarche did not voice Unicron, a character whose voice was provided by Welles in the film.
