Matthew Roger Green (born April 12 1970) was the British Liberal Democrat MP for Ludlow and his party's spokesman on the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. He claims to be the first "Official" Liberal to represent Ludlow since 1886. A graduate of the University of Birmingham, he used to work in the timber industry. He lost his seat to the Conservative, Philip Dunne, in the 2005 general election.
